Love Coma? What is that?
They’re a very good band out of the San Antonio Texas area with its singer/lyricist Chris Taylor. I first learned about Love Coma around 1998 when I saw a video of theirs on an inspirational/Christian video channel called ZTv. It was for a jangly, groovy, thought provoking song called Heart Wide Open. Something about Chris’s lyrics, voice and presence drew me in with that video.
Over the years I would kinda keep up with Chris’s music. I was honored to take part in a crowdsourced project for a new Love Coma album that came out in 2020.
The very first panel show I did on my channel was introducing 4 of my music chat friends from the Contrarians to the band. And, to my surprise, I got some favorable reviews from them on it!
